I remember reading Dirty Beasts when I was at school and the book still makes me laugh out loud. From crocky-wock the crocodile, to the clever pig who hatches a plan to save his bacon. The characters in the stories are both hilarious and ridiculous.
As with all Roald Dahl's books, it is wonderfully illustrated by Quentin Blake. I would definitely choose this book to read aloud in assembly.

DeleteThere is a dangerous gorilla called mighty max and the kidnapped boy Timothy and he speaks gorilla language and the gorilla be's his friend and then the man that kidnapped Timothy potts-smythe was squeezed by mighty max and then Mr Cheeseman said ''Let me down'' but the gorilla didn't understand what he was saying.
DeleteMy favourite book is called spaceheadz because aliens are in the school and one eats half of a new students pencil and the hamster was their leader the two new kids. Liked walking adverts.

ReplyDeleteAll of Anthony brown's books are so fantastic because the illustrations are very lovely pictures to see and they have clues. It's also my favourite book because the words are very interesting to read and maybe the school will like this to.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite book I want to be read in assembly is called The Toucan Brothers by Tor Freeman I want it to be read because the dog lies to everyone and people has problems in their house and the dog makes it even worse then there is a flood and the toucan brothers fixes everything and they tell the dog you need a new plan you cant do the job the two of us can.

I think in the book there's a like bad man which is kind of skinny and disgusting and he goes around people and they run away when they see his beard. I like this book because that the man is kind of funny and he makes me laugh when am reading the book. I think people should read it in asembely because that it will make people laugh and they will start reading the book everywhere they go until they finish it
