When we went to clapam school and we saw ballay and David let us see real life ballay dansers dancing ballay.
ReplyDeleteThen David came to teach us ballay we learnt podebra and sutay and we leering jumps with trikes.
When we went to Clapham Manor we learnt how to do some moves from the famous ballet Swan Lake. Watching the performance was our school and three others. We watched famous ballet dancers from the Royal Opera House. They showed us different ballet positions such as sauté which means when you jump instead of jumping and bending your knees you jump with your back straight and land and bend your knees a few weeks later the came from the royal ballet to train us we had to use are body's to make shape the first model we did was of the swan queen she was not actchaly a swan she was just cirst by the evil rothbart then we walked around like the swan queen the next week we were constantrating on the prince called prince seakfreed.
ReplyDeleteWen we went to clapham manor we was told a story about swan lake and there was this evil character called rothbart and his daughter odell and prince seek freed and Odets a kind princess of swan lake of here mothers tears and wen she jumped into the lake that's what turned her into a swan queen of all the swans in swan in swan lake and wen David started to teach us some bllet and one called sottae and plea
ReplyDeleteAll of Year 3 went to Clapham Manor school by bus to watch a performance by the Royal Ballet. Three other schools were also there. We learnt all about the ballet Swan Lake and they showed us how to do like moves of ballet it was pretty hard but we learned it in know time.We learned it because every Wednesday David always come to teach us moves so if you want to be a ballet when you are older you can go for it.We got so exited when David came.It was a fun time we learned a sauté,which means you bend your legs and get up again.They performed fantastic.But ordeal was wearing a white so people will know she is good and their was another ordeal but she lied that her name was ordeal but her name was odette which she is bad.She is rothbarts daughter.The whole year 3 make a Rothbart shapes which was very good!!! We had to think about using our body's to make different shapes.Also we had a competition to see who can jump the highest and keep our feet together when we hit the ground. It wasn't easy. I really hope I get chosen to get my writing on the news paper. It would be an honour.

DeleteI learnt that the dancers from the Royal Opera House are very fit and graceful. They taugjht us about the ballet swan lake. plats and the soot.

Deletei have learnt in Clapham manor different dance steps like sauté which means putting your heals together and jumping up and down.
ReplyDeleteWe learnt something called plié and that is when you put your feet together and bend your knees. sauté is the same thing but you jump and you land in the same position.

DeleteWe leanrt a ballet position called plié which means to stand with your heels together and ben your knees gracefully. You need to keep your back straight but you must rember not to ben your back unless you like it that way.

DeleteWe learned the sotay and pirouette. You have to use your whole body to make the moves. Even though I could not go to the Clapham Manor presentation, my friends have told me a lot about it. I did enjoy the workshops we got in school and hopefully one day I can become a professional dancer. Ballet is my favourite dance and this is was my chance to get a taste of it.

DeleteWe whent to clapham mannor school we saw specile dancers called elsa and we wached a dance name swan lake it was so fassinating decause rohtbath had a daether he told his daether to bretened to be elsa the real elsa saw a princ called princ seecfred he feel in lov with elsa did to but the spell had to be broken she had to be kissed by a princ .

Every tuesday a man that works in the royal ballet named david comes to our school and when he comes we learn ballet. we learnt a move called plie you put your feet together with a straight posture and and bend your knees. saute is the same thing but you jump and land in the same position.pout de bra is when you move your arm up and down slowly. They performed perfectly. odeal was in white that means she is good there was another odeal but she lied that here name was odeal but it was odet wich she is bad. I really hope my writing get chosen to put my work on a news paper. It will be an on honour.
