Rock on

Our students collected three rocks from Seven Sisters Country Park. Each weighs a different amount.

The first and second weigh 7kg altogether.
The second and third weigh 8kg altogether.
The first and third weigh 11kg altogether.

What is the weight of each rock?

    The first rock weighs 5kg and the 2nd rock weighs 2kg.
    The second rock weighs 2kg and the third weighs 6kg.
    The first rock weighs 5kg and the third rock weighs 6kg.
