Whose side will you take?

For or against


Think about whether you are for or against trapping the Iron Man.
Write about who you agree with and why.
These might be the farmer, Hoggarth, Hoggarth's dad, a member of the public, the town councellor,  the NOPDWT (National Organisation for the Prevention of the Destruction of Wild Things) or the Police.

    I am going to choose for because he ate my tractors so me and the council and the other famers / Hoggaths farther are making a plan to get reveange on the iron man

    I think Hogarth's dad turns the car but the iron man will lift the car and look inside who is in it.

    I chose for. The Iron Man has destroyed all our machinery he must be punished. Our town is ruined by this horrible monster. We can't plough the fields so we are ruining him.

    I'm am agenst because he is just a harmless creature, he can't help it because he is hungry and doesn't know any better. Maybe we could help him by giving him small pieces of metal to eat and explaining to him that it is not good to eat the farmers tractors it's wrong to bury the Iron man under dirt he will be able to come out because. He is made out of iron and you burying him with dirt he will be able to come out

    We are for and against having the iron man banished for ever because he might be harmless and violence is not the answer.But the Iron man does deserve it for eating there tractors and there cars.the police are against having the iron man removed and hogarths dad wants him to be removed. So that's why we're both.

    i am against the Iron Man was just trying to help but you always see him and you run away but however it is not his fault he was made so huge but it doesn`t mean that if he is big does`nt meant that he was evil and he coulours of his eyes are very prettty.

    i am with the family because wants to trap him up and if I was in that story I will trap him into a cage because he is scaring the little sister and he made the mum grow pale and made the dad frown and that was not very nice I under stand that he was not there to scare him he was there to make friends with the family but they just seem to not like me and I have any thing only if they will just make me talk to them then they will under stand how it is to not have a friend if they didn't have a friend I will be there friend but when ever I go cloust to them they say I am going to get my doubled barled gun.

    i agree with Hogarth because the iron man could be very dangerous robot he could be trying to heart people who dont want to mess around with the iron man he even mite step on someone because he is to tall to see were his foot is going to be that`s why i agree with Hogarth.

    The soulution that I found for the iron man and the local villagers is that in stead of trapping him under the earth forever they could take him to the place were they keep all there unwanted metal and give it to the iron man so he won't want any if their metal.So they won't have any broken tractors they will just have tree tractors as normal as it was.

    The iron man is a harmless creature we must not hurt him. What he eats is natural. He needs to eat like us. He's an animal we mustn't harm. We can't trap him he is a harmless creature. We don't know how he feels or what he eats. Just give him things that are made out of metal stuff.

    And we musts dictroy the best and he nearly hert Hogarth.And he is really harmless crècher and I think know body wants to be his friends because he ate all the tractors and he is not a kind friend to people.

    I agree with the animal organisation because hurting animals is crawl and also we should not be hurting animals in the nation. I am against because and I also agree with the police, they don,t want to trap the iron beast ether.i don,t want to hurt any animals in the nation because you don,t no they might do for the world.

    I agree with against because it is not iron mans fault because he is new in this town and someone even didn't talk to him even he really didn't want to harm the peoples who are in this countryside and they should not destroy the iron man and if they destroy the iron man the iron man will destroy them as well because he wants to live and Instead of destroying the iron man they could just talk to him then he will not harm the peoples the peoples think he is going to harm them and the the peoples can built him a iron home to live in and then the iron Man will be happy and be friends with the peoples in the countryside To be continued....

    I agree with Hogarth because he does not want to kill us he is a curious robot which he can be good somehow. He can only eat bolt and other metal stuff if we new where was he could live a normal life.
